Generative AI-powered Summary
For transcribed recordings of interactions, Interaction Insights can now create generative AI-powered summaries, automatically or upon user request. These summaries may capture key decisions, action items, discussion highlights, milestones, and/or other insights.
To generate the summary, the AI bot analyzes the transcription of the recorded interaction and arranges the results of this analysis in the format prescribed by the applied AI template. AI templates are managed and made available by the tenant administrator. The AI Summary feature comes with a set of built-in templates, but the tenant administrator can define additional custom templates and arrange them into logical sectors for easy access.
In the Interaction Insights web-portal, AI summaries are generated for interactions of Teams users and SIP devices whose recording profile is associated with an AI-enabled analytics profile (see Analytics Profiles). The analytics profile also specifies the template to be used for the summary.
On the Interactions page, the AI summary of an interaction is displayed on a dedicated tab.
Users with adequate access permissions can:

| ■ | Edit the summary. |
| ■ | Restore an edited summary to the original AI-generated version. |
| ■ | Download the summary. |

The Generative AI-powered Summary feature is licensed based on the number of targeted users for which it is required. If the requested quota of users for which a summary is generated has been reached, summaries will not be generated for additional users.
