3CX Call Center

This guide connects a 3CX call center to Live Hub. Complete the following steps:

  1. Create a SIP connection in Live Hub.
  2. Contact your 3CX Call Center provider.
  3. Update the SIP connection in Live Hub.

Create a SIP connection in Live Hub

The connection is created with default settings, which the later steps update.

To create the SIP connection that represents your 3CX Call Center account:

  1. Log in to Live Hub.

  2. In the Navigation pane, select SIP connections, and then click Add new SIP connection.

  3. On the General tab, under General:

    • In the 'Name' field, enter a unique SIP connection name (for example, 3CX).
    • From the 'Provider type' drop-down list, select Contact Center.
    • From the 'Provider' drop-down list, select 3CX Call Center.
  4. On the Incoming tab, under Authentication:

    • Select the 'FQDN (Request-URI)' check box, and then copy the 'SIP connection FQDN' value that appears. You send this value to your 3CX Call Center provider.
    • Select the 'Source IP address' check box.
  5. Click Create.

Contact your 3CX Call Center provider

Contact your 3CX Call Center provider and ask them to provision a connection with Live Hub in your account. Give them the 'SIP connection FQDN' value from the previous step.

Update the SIP connection in Live Hub

This procedure applies the 3CX Call Center configuration from the previous step to the SIP connection.

To update the 3CX Call Center SIP connection:

  1. Log in to Live Hub.

  2. In the Navigation pane, select the 3CX Call Center connection that you created earlier.

  3. If your 3CX Call Center provider gave you authentication parameters, then on the General tab, under Registration and authentication:

    • From the 'Registration' drop-down list, select Enabled.
    • In the 'Contact name' field, enter the {contactName} of your 3CX Call Center.
    • Under Credentials, enter the {username} and {password} of your 3CX Call Center.
  4. On the Outgoing tab, under Addresses:

    • Click Add to create a new entry.
    • In the 'ADDRESS' field, enter the {address} of your 3CX Call Center.
    • In the 'PORT' field, enter the {port} of your 3CX Call Center.
    • In the 'PROTOCOL' field, select the {transport} of your 3CX Call Center.
  5. Click Update to apply the new parameters to the SIP connection.
