Create multi-agent topologies

To create a multi-agent topology:

1. Choose the agent that will handle the initial interaction with user (for example, answer the incoming call):

   1. In the Navigation pane, expand AI Agents, and then click Agents.

   2. Select the agent card that will handle the initial interaction, and click Edit.

2. From the 'Sub-agents' drop-down list, assign sub-agents. After selecting sub-agents, the 'Orchestration mode' drop-down list appears.

3. From the 'Orchestration mode' drop-down list, select Consult, Delegate, or Delegate with History. For more information about these modes, see Multi-agent orchestration modes.

For even more complex multi-agent topologies, you can add sub-agents to sub-agents. For more details, see Agent hierarchy.
