DTAG CompanyFlex SIP Trunking

This guide connects a DTAG CompanyFlex SIP trunk to Live Hub. Complete the following steps:

  1. Configure SIP trunking in the DTAG CompanyFlex portal.
  2. Create a SIP connection in Live Hub.

Configure SIP trunking in the DTAG CompanyFlex portal

To configure the SIP trunking service in the DTAG CompanyFlex portal:

  1. Order the CompanyFlex SIP trunking service from DTAG.

  2. Log in to the DTAG CompanyFlex portal (https://bsp.geschaeftskunden.telekom.de).

  3. Go to the numbers assigned to Live Hub, and note the following:

    1. DTAG SIP Servers FQDNs, for example 123456789.primary.companyflex.de and 123456789.secondary.companyflex.de
    2. SIP Username
    3. SIP Password
    4. The range of DID numbers assigned to your SIP trunk

You need this information when you configure Live Hub.

Create a SIP connection in Live Hub

To create the SIP connection that represents your DTAG CompanyFlex SIP trunking account:

  1. Log in to Live Hub.

  2. In the Navigation pane, select SIP connections, and then click Add new SIP connection.

  3. Select the General tab, and then under the General group:

    1. In the 'Name' field, enter a unique SIP connection name (for example, DTAG).
    2. From the 'Provider type' drop-down list, select SIP Trunk.
    3. From the 'Provider' drop-down list, select DTAG CompanyFlex SIP Trunk.
  4. Under the Source numbers group:

    1. If you have a CLIP No Screening agreement with DTAG:

      1. From the 'Service number' drop-down list, select Used.
      2. In the 'Service number value' field, enter the DID from the range of DTAG numbers assigned to Live Hub.
      3. From the 'P-Asserted-Identity' drop-down list, select Service Number.
    2. If you do not have a CLIP No Screening agreement with DTAG:

      1. From the 'Service number' drop-down list, select Not Used.
      2. From the 'P-Asserted-Identity' drop-down list, select Calling Number.
  5. Under the Registration and authentication group:

    1. Under Credentials, enter the {sipUsername} and {sipPassword} shown on your DTAG CompanyFlex configuration screen.
  6. Select the Incoming tab:

    1. Select the 'Source IP address' check box.
    2. Select the 'Dialed Numbers (DIDs)' check box.
    3. Click Add, and then configure the DIDs that DTAG assigned to your SIP trunk, for all calls that DTAG CompanyFlex sends to Live Hub.
  7. Select the Outgoing tab, and then under the Addresses group:

    1. Click Add to create a new entry:

      1. In the 'ADDRESS' field, enter the primary DTAG SIP Servers FQDN.
      2. In the 'PORT' field, enter 5061.
      3. In the 'PROTOCOL' field, enter TLS.
    2. Click Add again, and then create another entry:

      1. In the 'ADDRESS' field, enter the secondary DTAG SIP Servers FQDN.
      2. In the 'PORT' field, enter 5061.
      3. In the 'PROTOCOL' field, enter TLS.
  8. Click Create.
