Default tool parameters

You can configure default values for some tool parameters by using “=value” syntax in the Description field; for example:

• Name: api-version

• Description: =2024-08-03

You may also use variables, defined in Agents screen, or conversation data to specify default parameter values, for example:

• Name: api-key

• Description: ={api_key}

Parameters with default values are included in the outbound HTTP/HTTPS requests but completely hidden from the LLM. This allows you to safely construct outbound HTTP/HTTPS requests that contain sensitive information, for example, API keys.
