SFR SIP Trunking

This guide connects an SFR SIP trunk to Live Hub. Complete the following steps:

  1. Order a SIP trunk from SFR
  2. Create a SIP connection in Live Hub

Order a SIP trunk from SFR

Once the SIP trunk is configured at the SFR end, SFR provides the following details. You need this information to set up the trunk in Live Hub. See Create a SIP connection in Live Hub.

Create a SIP connection in Live Hub

To create the SIP connection that represents your SFR SIP trunk:

  1. Log in to Live Hub.

  2. In the Navigation pane, select SIP connections, and then click Add new SIP connection.

  3. Select the General tab:

    1. Under the General group:

      • In the 'Name' field, enter a unique SIP connection name (for example, SFR).
      • From the 'Provider type' drop-down list, select SIP Trunk.
      • From the 'Provider' drop-down list, select SFR SIP Trunk.

    2. Under the Security group:

      • From the 'Encryption' drop-down list, select Disabled.

    3. Under the Source numbers group:

      • From the 'Service number' drop-down list, select Used.

      • In the 'Service number value' field, enter the NDI (main number) that SFR provided, in 10-digit format (0ZABPQMCDU).

      • From the 'P-Asserted-Identity' drop-down list, select Service Number.

  4. Select the Incoming tab:

    1. Select the 'Source IP address' check box.
    2. Select the 'Dialed Numbers (DIDs)' check box, and then add all the numbers that belong to the SIP trunk, meaning the NDI (main number) plus the DID ranges, in E.164 format (+33ZABPQMCDU).

  5. Select the Outgoing tab:

    1. Under the General group:

      • In the 'SIP server hostname' field, enter the IP address that SFR provided for SIP signaling.

    2. Under the Addresses group:

      1. Click Add to create a new entry.

        • In the 'ADDRESS' field, enter that same IP address (X.X.X.X).
        • In the 'PORT' field, enter 5060.
        • In the 'PROTOCOL' field, select UDP.

  6. Select the Numbers tab:

    1. Under the E.164 format group:

      • From the 'E.164 format' drop-down list, select Starts with 00.

    2. Under the National format group:

      • From the 'National format' drop-down list, select Enabled.
      • In the 'Country code' field, enter 33.
      • From the 'National prefix' drop-down list, select Starts with 0.

  7. Select the Advanced tab:

    1. Under the Keep Alive group:

      • From the 'Keep alive' drop-down list, select Enabled.
      • In the 'Keep alive time (sec)' field, enter 60.

    2. Under the Supported coders group:

      • From the 'Supported coders' drop-down list, select G.711 a-law.

  8. Click Create.
