Connecting sipgate basic to Live Hub

This section describes how to connect sipgate basic to the Live Hub.

If you are using a sipgate trunking service, see Create sipgate Trunk and Attach Phone Numbers to It.

To connect sipgate basic to the AudioCodes Live Hub platform, complete the following steps:

  1. Copy credentials from the sipgate basic portal.

  2. Create a SIP Connection in Live Hub.

Copy Credentials from the sipgate basic Portal

This step copies credentials from the sipgate basic portal.

  1. Log in to the sipgate portal (https://sipgate.de) as a user with Admin privileges.

  2. In the navigation panel, select Telefone.

    1. Note the SIP-ID.

    2. Note the SIP-Password.

    3. Note the Registrar.

Create SIP Connection in Live Hub

The following procedure describes how to create a SIP Connection in the Live Hub that represents your sipgate basic account.

  1. Log in to your Live Hub.

  2. In the navigation menu, select SIP Connections, and then click the Add new SIP connection button to add a new SIP Connection.

  3. Click the GENERAL tab:

    1. In the GENERAL section:

      • For ‘Name’, enter the unique SIP Connection name (e.g., sipgate).

      • For ‘Provider Type’, select SIP Trunk.

      • For ‘Provider’, select sipgate SIP Trunk.

    1. In the REGISTRATION AND AUTHENTICATION section:

      • For ‘Registration’, select Enabled.

      • For ‘Contact name’, enter the <SIP-ID> as displayed in your sipgate basic configuration screen.

      • For ‘Credentials’, enter the <SIP-ID> and <SIP-password> as displayed in your sipgate basic configuration screen.

  1. Click the OUTGOING tab:

    1. In the GENERAL section:

      • For ‘SIP Server Hostname’, enter the <registrar> as displayed in your sipgate basic configuration screen (default value “sipgate.de”).

    1. In the ADDRESSES section:

      • Click Add to create a new entry.

        • For ‘ADDRESS’, enter the <registrar> as displayed in your sipgate basic configuration screen (default value “sipgate.de”).

        • For ‘PORT’, enter "5060".

        • For ‘PROTOCOL’, select UDP.

  1. Click Create to create a new SIP Connection.
