Phone number management
This section describes an easy way to purchase new numbers (DIDs) from AudioCodes using the plus (+) wizard or by editing your purchased numbers' properties.
When you initially buy a number, the number is considered "un-assigned". Assigning a number to a bot or SIP connection, is described in detail under Manage routing rules
You can add up to 5 phone numbers per bot or SIP Connection. In other words, the same bot or SIP Connection can provide services to customers located in different geographical locations (e.g., US and other countries).
Assigned and unassigned numbers are charged monthly (see Live Hub's website).
A phone number can only be associated with one bot (i.e., multiple bots cannot share the same phone number).
When you initially add a phone number to a bot, the number is considered "assigned" to the bot. If you want to assign the number to a different bot, you need to first unassign it from the original bot, and then assign it to the other bot. A phone number that has not been assigned to any bot, the number is considered "unassigned".
An unassigned number maintains its previous bot framework settings (for example, language, voice name, or barge-in). If it is later assigned to a bot that belongs to the same bot framework, its settings are maintained. However, if it is assigned to a bot belonging to a different bot framework, its settings return to default settings for that specific bot framework.
You are still charged for unassigned numbers.
If you delete a number, it's removed from the bot and from the Live Hub.
As you are charged monthly for each number, you are not reimbursed if you delete a number during the month.
When configuring the Dialogflow CX bot framework, the 'Barge-in' and 'DTMF' fields are disabled and display “Controlled by Dialogflow Agent”.
