ICMP Parameters

The ICMP parameters are described in the table below.

'Don't Send ICMP Unreachable Messages'

configure network > network-settings > icmp-disable-unreachable

[DisableICMPUnreachable]

Enables the device to generate and send ICMP messages, if required.

[0] No= (Default) Device sends ICMP Unreachable messages.

[1] Yes= Device doesn't send ICMP Unreachable messages.

'Send and Receive ICMP Redirect Messages'

configure network > network-settings > icmp-disable-redirec

[DisableICMPRedirects]

Enables sending and receiving ICMP Redirect messages.

[0] Yes= (Default) Device sends and accepts ICMP Redirect messages.

■

[1] No= Device rejects ICMP Redirect messages and also doesn't send them.
