Sending RTCP XR in SIP PUBLISH Messages

If you've enabled RTCP XR reporting where RTCP XR is sent in the RTP media stream (see Enabling and Configuring RTCP XR), you can also configure the device to send the RTCP XR to a specific IP Group using SIP PUBLISH messages.

The PUBLISH message contains the following RTCP XR related header values:

From: Telephone extension number of the user

■

To: Telephone extension number of the user

■

Request-URI: IP Group (name) to where RTCP XR is sent

■

Event: "vq-rtcpxr"

■

Content-Type: "application/vq-rtcpxr"

To send RTCP XR in SIP PUBLISH messages:

Open the RTP/RTCP Settings page (Setup menu > Signaling & Media tab > Media folder > RTP/RTCP Settings).

Under the RTCP-XR Collection Server group, configure the following:

(Gateway Application Only) From the 'Gateway RTCP XR Report Mode' drop-down list (RTCPXRReportMode), select the required option for sending RTCP XR reports and the stage of the call to send.

From the 'Publication IP Group ID' drop-down list (PublicationIPGroupID), select the IP Group to where you want the device to send the RTCP XR reports.

●

(SBC Application Only) From the 'SBC RTCP XR Report Mode' drop-down list (SBCRtcpXrReportMode), select the option to enable the sending of RTCP XR reports of QoE metrics at the end of each call session (i.e., after a SIP BYE).

Click Apply.
