Importing Dial Plan Rules for Multiple Dial Plans

You can import Dial Plan rules for multiple Dial Plans that you've configured in the Dial Plan table. This is done using the Import option in the Dial Plan table.

Make sure that the names of the Dial Plans in the imported file exactly match the names of existing Dial Plans in the Dial Plan table. The device only imports rules for Dial Plans that already exist in the table. If a Dial Plan in the file does not have a matching entry in the Dial Plan table, its rules are not imported.
When importing a Dial Plan file, the device deletes all existing rules of all Dial Plans.
When a matching Dial Plan is found in the Dial Plan table, all existing rules for that Dial Plan are replaced with the rules from the imported file.
The import process deletes all rules from Dial Plans in the Dial Plan table that are not included in the imported file (although the Dial Plan names themselves remain). For example, if the imported file contains only the Dial Plan "MyDialPlan1" and the Dial Plan table includes the "MyDialPlan1" and "MyDialPlan2" Dial Plans, the rules of "MyDialPlan1" are replaced by those in the imported file and all the rules of "MyDialPlan2" are deleted.
To import Dial Plan rules of multiple Dial Plans:
1. Open the Dial Plan table (see Configuring Dial Plans).
2. From the 'Action' drop-down menu, choose Import; the following confirmation message appears:
