Configuring Allowed Firewall Rules for Media Transcoding Cluster

If you have configured the device with any firewall rules in the Firewall table (see Configuring Firewall Rules), it is recommended that the below firewall rules be configured to allow connectivity with the Media Components.

* 6000 is the default UDP port as defined by the 'RTP Base UDP Port' [BaseUDPport] parameter. If you modify this parameter, then you need to change the firewall rules accordingly.

If the device needs to communicate with AudioCodes OVOC, you must also add rules to allow incoming traffic from OVOC. For more information, see Configuring Firewall Rules for OVOC Traffic.
