Deleting Media Components

The following procedure describes how to delete a Media Component from the Media Transcoding Cluster. Once deleted, the Cluster Manager stops allocating transcoding sessions to it.

To delete a Media Component:

1.

Open the Media Components table (see Step 6: Adding Media Component to Cluster Manager).

2.

Select the required Media Component row, and then from the Action button on the table's toolbar, choose Lock to lock the Media Component.

3.

When the status of the Media Component is "Locked", select the Media Component again, and then from the table's toolbar, click ; a confirmation message box appears.

4.

Click Yes, Delete to confirm deletion.
