Deleting Media Components
The following procedure describes how to delete a Media Component from the Media Transcoding Cluster. Once deleted, the Cluster Manager stops allocating transcoding sessions to it.

You can delete only locked Media Components. |

|
You cannot delete Media Components that are undergoing a software upgrade or restart. |

To delete a Media Component: |

Select the required Media Component row, and then from the Action button on the table's toolbar, choose Lock to lock the Media Component. |

When the status of the Media Component is "Locked", select the Media Component again, and then from the table's toolbar, click ; a confirmation message box appears. |

4.
|
Click Yes, Delete to confirm deletion. |
