Installing the OCP Card (Configuration Options B and C)

This section describes how to install the OCP card for configuration options B and C (see Network Configurations).

To install the OCP card:

1.

Power off the server and disconnect it from the power source.

2.

Install the OCP SFP+ network card, as described in Dell's documentation.

3.

Connect the optic cables (see Connecting Device to IP Network with SFP+).

4.

Power on the server.

When the device completes loading, the new SFP+ ports are labeled GE_9 to GE_12.
