Viewing Performance Monitoring Graphs

The device's Web-based management interface lets you configure customized graphs for plotting performance monitoring parameters. This allows you to easily track the statistical information of selected performance monitoring parameters that are important in your network.

Plotting of performance monitoring parameters is first done in the KPI Layouts table (Monitor menu > Monitor tab > Performance Monitoring folder > KPI Layouts), where you define the number of graphs and their positioning on each Layout page. Once a KPI Layout has been configured, you can open its corresponding Layout page in the Web interface and add performance monitoring parameters to the graphs.

This KPI Layouts feature is a powerful tool device, offering the following feature-rich capabilities:

Each graph can be configured with customized labels (graph title, x-axis title and y-axis title).
Multiple performance monitoring parameters can be added to each graph.
Each graph can be enabled to display a tooltip that shows the values of a specific point on the graph when you hover your mouse over it.
A powerful drill-down selection list allows you to quickly and easily select the required performance monitoring parameter from the device's hierarchical structure of performance monitoring parameters.
Each plotted performance monitoring parameter can be configured with a specific line color for easy identification.
Each graph can be downloaded to your computer in various file formats (e.g., PNG or PDF).
Each graph can be sent to your local printer.

For more information on configuring KPI Layouts, refer to the device's User's Manual.
