Locking and unlocking campaigns

By default, when you add a campaign it's activated (unlock) and the campaign starts running according to your defined campaign schedule and targets. You can deactivate (lock) a campaign so that it stops (pauses) running, and then activate (unlock) it at a later stage.

Locking has no meaning when the campaign has not yet started ("Not Started" status) or has finished ("Completed" status).

To lock or unlock a campaign:

  1. From the Navigation menu, click Campaign Dialer; the Campaign dialer page appears, displaying campaigns that you've configured.

  2. Select the campaign that you want to lock or unlock, and then click Details.

  3. Select the Settings and Control tab (selected by default).

  4. Under the Campaign Control group, click the Admin State toggle button to choose between one of the following:

    • Unlock - activates (starts) the campaign.

    • Lock - deactivates (stops) the campaign. When locked, the 'Campaign Status' read-only field displays "Locked".

  1. Click Apply.
