Managing User Licenses

The User License page tracks the licenses currently assigned to each tenant service, comparing them against the total licenses purchased in their available license pool. Billing is calculated based on aggregated usage data according to the calculated factor value. For Hosted Essentials services, the implemented factor is Managed Service Numbers. These numbers are added globally to the service in the Manage SBC Prefixes page with a dial plan tag that is different to the dial plan tag of the configured SIP connections (see Load DIDs to Managed Service). License values are displayed in the format n1 (n2) where the value shown outside the brackets reflects the actual calculated value and the value inside the brackets, reflects the actual configured value.

For detailed information on Regex criteria for the License factor calculations, see Regex Criteria for User License Factor Calculations.

To manage user licenses:
1. In the Service portal Navigation pane, select Monitoring > UMP License.

In the example shown above, 5 Service Numbers have been loaded to the tenant in the Manage SBC Prefixes page (see below).

2 license factors counted as Service numbers. This factor counts numbers that are have been globally uploaded to the tenant (not assigned to individual users) in the SIP Connections page and have been assigned a PSTN Gateway tag that is different to the tag of the SIP Connection (Site Location). For example, a Fax number.
