Enabling SSH for Public Key Authentication

This section describes how to enable SSH public key authentication for accessing the device's CLI.

To enable SSH for public key authentication:
1. Open the Administration Settings page (Setup menu > Administration tab > Web & CLI folder > Administration Settings).
2. Select the 'Enable SSH Server' check box to enable SSH:

3. Select the 'Public Key' check box to enforce SSH access with a username and SSH public key (not username and password):

4. Configure the key algorithm string, cipher string, or MAC string:

5. Click Apply, and then save your settings to flash memory.
