Customizing the Product Name

You can customize the device's product name. The name is displayed in various places in the management interfaces, as shown below using the example of the customized product name "Product":

To customize device's product name:

1.

Create a text file using a text editor (e.g., Notepad) with the following parameter settings:

UseProductName = 1
UserProductName = <Your Product Name>

2.

Save the file as a .ini file (e.g., productname.ini).

3.

Upload the file to the device as an incremental ini file (see Uploading Auxiliary Files).

4.

On the toolbar, click the Save button to save your settings to flash memory.

5.

Log out of the Web interface; the new product name is now applied.
