Disabling Password Obfuscation
If you want to disable password obfuscation, you need to delete (clear) the encryption key. You can do this using various methods.

To clear (disable) password obfuscation: |

a.
|
Open the Security Settings page (Setup menu > IP Network tab > Security folder > Security Settings). |
|

|
Scroll down the page to the Encryption Key group: |
|
c.
|
Click the Clear Encryption Key button. |

CLI: configure network > security-settings > encryption-key clear |

Configuration Package File:

|
Open the encryption.key file, delete the key, and then save the empty file. |
|
c.
|
Compress all the files in the unzipped folder into a 7-Zip archive file, and then upload it to the device encrypted. |
