Adding Client Certificate to Web Browser Client

The following procedure describes how to add a client certificate to your web browser (e.g., Google Chrome). This is required when using Mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication with the device's REST API or Web interface.

To add client certificate to web browser (e.g., Google Chrome):
1. Open your Chrome web browser.
2. In the top-right corner, click the ellipsis button, and then choose Settings.
3. Select Privacy and security, and then click Security.
4. Under 'Advanced', select Manage certificates, and then click Manage imported certificates from Windows:

5. Click Import, and then use the wizard to import your .pfx certificate file.

Once you've add the trusted root certificate to the device, your REST requests through the web browser are seamless, eliminating the need to provide user credentials (username and password).
