Editing Syslog Messages

Syslog Viewer provides an editing mode that allows you to edit the syslog messages. For example, you may want to remove unwanted strings or lines before saving or writing them to file.

To edit syslog messages:

1.

From the Edit menu, choose Enable Editing; a check mark appears next to the command, indicating that you are in editing mode.

2.

Make your changes as desired.

3.

Disable editing - from the Edit menu, choose Enable Editing; the check mark no longer appears next to the command.
