Including Tab Name in Filename

You can include the syslog's window tab name in the filename of the saved syslog. By default, Syslog Viewer names the file syslog.txt. For example, if the tab name is "SBC", the file is saved as syslog_SBC.txt.

To use window tab name in saved filename:

1.

On the toolbar, click the Options   icon; the Options dialog box appears.

2.

Under the Multiple Devices group, select the 'Use device labels for file names' check box.

3.

Click OK.
