Register Microsoft Teams Application

This procedure describes how to register the Microsoft Teams application that is used for retrieving Call Notifications for the managed Microsoft Teams tenant.

To register the application:
1. Open the Azure Portal, the Overview page is displayed with the Tenant ID of the managed Teams tenant.
2. In the Navigation pane, select App registrations.
3. Click New registration.
4. Enter the name of the application.
5. Configure Redirect URI to the Live Platform Server instance.
6. Click Register.

7. Copy the Application (client) ID to notepad as this value is later required for configuration.
8. In the Navigation pane, select Certificate & Secrets.

9. Click New client secret.

10. Click Add.

11. Copy the Secret Value to notepad as you will be required to enter it later in the configuration.

The Tenant ID, Secret Value and App Client ID should be saved in a text file for future usage. It’s recommended to set a calendar reminder as an expiration time warning for these values.
