ip nat pool

This command defines a collection of IP addresses to be used for NAT purposes.

To remove a pool, use the no format of the command.

Syntax

ip nat pool <pool-name> <start-ip> <end-ip>
ip nat pool <pool-name> <start-ip> <end-ip> rotary

Command

Description

pool-name

Defines the name of the pool.

start-ip

Defines the starting IP address of the NAT address pool.

end-ip

Defines the last IP address of the NAT address pool.

rotary

Indicates that the pool refers to LAN hosts participating in a load-balancing scheme. See "ip nat inside destination" for additional information.

Default

No NAT pools are defined.
