Configuring Secondary WAN Interface

The WAN Secondary Interface page lets you configure a secondary IPv4 or IPv6 WAN interface for WAN link redundancy. In redundancy, the two WAN ports - primary (GigabitEthernet 0/0) and secondary (GigabitEthernet 0/0) - operate in active/standby mode. In case of a link failure, the device automatically switches to this second (redundant) WAN port interface.

To configure secondary WAN address:

Open the WAN Interface page (Setup menu > IP Network tab > Core Entities folder > WAN Secondary Interface).
