Upgrading OVOC Server on VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V Virtual Machines

This chapter describes how to upgrade the OVOC server on VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V Virtual machines.

Before proceeding, it is highly recommended to back up the OVOC server files to an external location (Backing Up OVOC Server ).

If you are upgrading from Version 7.2.3000, you can optionally migrate OVOC topology to Version 7.4 and later (see document Migration from EMS and SEM Version 7.2.3000 to One Voice Operations Center).

Ensure that the minimum platform requirements are met (see Hardware and Software Specifications). Failure to meet these requirements will lead to the aborting of the upgrade.
