Enabling Secured TLS Communication between Active and Redundant Devices

You can enable secure communication between the active and redundant devices in the HA system. This ensures that all data exchanges, including file transfers and other packets, are encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). This means that communication through the HA Maintenance interface, which handles all maintenance operations between the active and redundant devices is secure.

To enable secure communication between active and redundant device:

Open the HA Settings page (Setup menu > IP Network tab > Core Entities folder > HA Settings).

Select the 'HA Secured Connectivity Mode' check box:

Click Apply, and then restart the device with a burn-to-flash for your settings to take effect.
