Downloading CDRs through SFTP

You can use SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol or Secure File Transfer Protocol) to access the CDR files that are locally stored on the device (see Storing CDRs Locally on the Device). The locally stored CDRs are located in the /cdr-gw folder.

As this is a secure connection, the SFTP client needs to authenticate itself with the device (SFTP server). The device performs standard user authentication, where you can set it up to check the user's credentials in the Local Users table (see Configuring Management User Accounts) or with a remote authentication server.

As an SFTP client, you can do the following SFTP operations on CDR files:

Rename CDR files
Download CDR files

You can access the /cdr-gw folder only if you have one of the following management user levels:

Administrator
Security Administrator
Master
