Storing Debug Files on an External Cloud Storage Platform

You can store debug files generated by the device on an external cloud storage platform. The storage platform can be one of the following:

Microsoft Azure Blob Storage
Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3

If an exception triggers a device restart, the device automatically sends the generated debug file to the configured storage platform immediately after the restart. If the exception doesn't trigger a restart, the device sends the debug file to the storage platform immediately after the file is generated.

To store debug files on an external cloud storage platform:
1. Open the External Storage table and configure a storage platform (see Configuring External Cloud Storage for Debug Recording and Debug Files).
2. Assign the configured External Storage for debug files:
a. Open the Debug Files page (Troubleshoot menu > Troubleshoot tab > Debug folder > Debug Files).
b. From the 'Debug File External Storage' drop-down list, select the External Storage entry that you configured in the External Storage table (see Step 1).

c. Click Apply.
