Actions on Media Components

You can perform the following on each Media Component in the Media Components table:

Lock and Unlock (see Locking and Unlocking Media Components)

■

Restart (see Restarting Media Components)

■

Delete (see Deleting Media Components)

■

Modify name (see Changing the Name of Media Components)

It's recommended to perform maintenance actions through the Stack Manager (instead of the device's Web interface or CLI). For more information, refer to the document Stack Manager User's Manual.

You can't do any administrative actions on locked Media Components (restart, add, edit, delete, or software upgrade).
