authentication chap (PPP/MLP over T1)

This command enables Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) to be used by this PPP/MLP serial interface.

Syntax

authentication chap 

Command	Description
‘no’ at prefix of command	Disables CHAP on this PPP/MLP serial interface.

Default

By default CHAP is enabled
