Setting up Your SIPREC Client for Double Recording

To implement double recording, set up your SIPREC client with a second SRS:

If your SIPREC client is an AudioCodes SBC, follow the steps in Setting up Your AudioCodes SBC for SIPREC.

■

If you are using a third-party SIPREC client, follow the instructions of the vendor.

Once set up, the SBC SIPREC client will fork the SIPREC stream to both SRS instances, thus providing double recording.

To match duplicate recordings as belonging to the same call, both SRS instances must receive:

The same SIPREC metadata, and

■

An AC-Session-ID SIP INVITE message header with an identical and unique AC-Session-ID value.

For the AC-Session-ID to be generated and inserted in the INVITE message:

AudioCodes SBC – set the following parameter in the global INI file:

SendAcSessionIDHeader = 1
