Editing Device Manager Service

You can configure the total number of licensed devices for the service and add additional devices to services using AudioCodes Redirect Server.

Do the following:
1. From the Device Manager drop-down, select Edit Service.

2. Use the table below as reference when editing Customer Properties. Verify the maximum number of available licenses before adding new devices.

Parameter

Description

Max Devices Meeting

Enter the maximum number of managed Meeting Room devices.

Max Devices Personal

Enter the maximum number of managed personal devices.

Service Name

The short name of the new service. The following validation rules for the service name:

The string should be 3-15 characters long
The following characters cannot be used: \ / : * ? " < > |audit
The name can contain letters (lower/UPPER case), Numbers and special characters are allowed, however cannot contain the dot (.) or blank spaces.
Unique name per Service

Service Full Name

Enter the full name for the service.

Service Source

Default: Device Manager

Azure Tenant ID

The Azure Tenant ID configurable for the service.

3. Click the Add Devices to Redirect Server button shown in the previous figure (you can also access this page from Adding Devices to Service).

Customer operators cannot delete for requests 1 and 2

4. Click the Add button to add the MAC addresses of the devices to onboard.
5. Enter the list of MAC addresses that you want to configure (use ';' | ',' | ' '|) to separate entries, and then click Add. You can also load MAC addresses from a CSV or text file:
a. Click Load mac addresses from file.

b. Browse to the file that you wish upload (configure .CSV or text file in the following format:

c. Click the Upload button to upload the file.

6. If you are adding a SIP Gateway, click the Teams SIP Gateway check box.

7. From the Region drop-down, choose the relevant region.
8. From the Language drop-dow, choose the relevant language.

9. View the results of the MAC validation process that are described in the table below.

Response

Description

3-Success

A connection has been successfully established between the device and the AudioCodes Redirect Server. The device is redirected to the Live Platform server and the upgrade of the device firmware commences.

0-Invalid

The devices' MAC address is not recognized by the Redirect Server.

0-Duplicated Same

A connection already exists between the device and the Redirect Server from the same instance of Live Platform server.

0- Duplicated Other

A connection already exists between the device and the Redirect Server from another instance of Live Platform server.

10. Click Close. The Redirect Server attempts to establish connection with the devices; an 'Await access' status is displayed.

Once the devices have been successfully provisioned with firmware and configuration file, the Redirect Status is 'Success' and the Requests value is 1.

You may need to reboot the device to activate connection

11. Open the Device Status page and verify that Firmware files are downloading to the device. You may need to refresh the page to view the newly added device.

12. Click the Waiting for the userto sign-in for device provisioning icon and then sign into the device's Web interface to enable remote configuration from the Device Manager.

13. Click Update Service.
