Instant Message Retrieval Consent
This consent is displayed only if Instant Messaging is enabled for the tenant.
Granting the Instant Message Retrieval consent provides the application permission to access and retrieve stored instant messages on Azure.
You consent to the following Microsoft Graph permissions:

ChannelMessage.Read.All – read all channel messages in Microsoft Teams |

Chat-Read-All – to read all 1-to-1 or group chat messages in Microsoft Teams |

■
|
ChatMember.Read.All – read the members of all chats without a signed-in user |

You must have successfully granted the previously listed consents before you can grant this consent. |

To grant consent to Recording Calls: |

1.

If the Consents page is not already displayed, access it by navigating to Settings > System Settings > Connect to your M365. |

2.
|
Click the Grant Admin Consent link next to the 'Instant Message Retrieval' consent; you are prompted to log in to your Microsoft 365 account. |

3.
|
Log in to the Global admin account of your Live Platform tenant; the following permissions dialog appears: |
|
4.
|
Click Accept to accept the requested permissions. The consent is marked with the icon, indicating that you have successfully granted 'Instant Message Retrieval' consent. |
At that stage, you have completed the mandatory consents. You can add the application to your Teams store (see Publish Teams Client App in Teams Store (Optional)).
