Onboarding Step 1 – Grant MS365 Admin Consents
The Quick Start onboarding wizard is only relevant for systems with enabled Teams recording. It is not relevant for SIPREC only systems.
The first step in Interaction Insights onboarding is to grant the necessary admin permissions. On the onboarding wizard page, click Connect M365.
The required consents are listed, depending on the license of the recording tenant (Essential or Pro). The screen captures below are from a tenant with a Pro license and enabled Instant Messaging.
You must grant each of these consents in the order they are listed, as follows:
| 1. | M365 Login (see M365 Login Consent) |
| 2. | Read Microsoft Entra ID Groups and Users (see Read Microsoft Entra ID Groups and Users Content) |
| 3. | Recording of Calls (see Recording Calls Consent) |
| 4. | [Only for tenants with a Pro license] Redundant Recording of Calls (see Redundant Recording Calls Consent (Pro License Only)) |
| 5. | [Only for tenants with enabled Instant Messaging] Instant Message Retrieval (see Instant Message Retrieval Consent) |
In addition, optionally publish the Teams Client App in your Teams Store (see Publish Teams Client App in Teams Store (Optional)).
After successfully granting a consent, it is marked completed.
In the following figure, all consents have been completed. The app has also been added to Teams client, to be published in the Teams store.
After completing the consents, click Finish and continue with the next step (see Onboarding Step 2 – Configure Recording Profile).
