Add Control IP SIP Connection

The Control IP SIP Connection lets you monitor call data traversing specific Control IP addresses configured on the SBC device.

Do the following:

From the Add SIP Connection drop-down, choose Control IP.

Configure parameters according to the table below.

Parameter	Description
Name	Name of the SIP connection.
Display Name	Display name when choosing the connection from the drop-down configuration .
SIP Connection Description	Brief description of the connection.
Customer	From the drop-down list, select the customer to attach to the connection.
SBC	From the drop-down list, select the SBC device to attach to the connection.
Control IP	From the drop-down list, configure a valid IP address on which SIP control messages are originated.
Direction	Indicates the direction of the call traffic managed by the SIP Connection. ■ Bi Directional: Connection manages both calls incoming to the configured SBC device (see "SBC" above) and calls outgoing from the reporting device. ■ Ingress: Connection manages calls incoming to the reporting SBC device (see "SBC" above). ■ Egress: Connection monitors calls outgoing from the reporting SBC device (see "SBC" above).

A confirmation message is displayed upon successful creation of the service and the details of the new connection are displayed.
